King of Prussia, PA – July, 2014
Xelerate CEO, Emily Biscardi, has been recognized as Philadelphia SmartCEO’s newest Hall of Fame member for 2014. An official announcement was made last Wednesday at this year’s SmartCEO Brava! Awards.
The program honors exemplary female business leaders who have an enthusiastic entrepreneurial spirit and a passion to give back to the community. Biscardi represents her 2013 Class and is among 10 total past Brava! Award winners to be inducted into the Hall of Fame. All of these members are known to encourage local philanthropy, mentor others around them, and help set their companies on a path to tremendous growth.
After winning the 2013 Brava! Award, Biscardi says, “I began recognizing the significance of being a woman Founder and CEO. I had never focused on the fact that there are statistically very few women in my position. As a result, I have concentrated my efforts in supporting women entrepreneurs, leaders and women in philanthropy.”
Since the 2013 Brava! Award recognition, Biscardi was asked to join Impact100 Philadelphia’s Board of Directors. Impact100 Philadelphia’s mission is to engage women in philanthropy and collectively fund high-impact grants to charitable initiatives in the Philadelphia region. Biscardi also became a member of the Membership Committee for The Forum of Executive Women and actively promotes their mission to leverage the power of executive women in the Greater Philadelphia Region to expand the impact and influence of women leaders.
“I am extremely touched and honored to be inducted into such an impressive and elite group of Philadelphia business women,” said Emily. “And congratulations to this year’s Smart CEO Brava! Award winners.”
Under the direction of Biscardi and her team, Xelerate continues to expand its footprint in providing outsourced recruiting services to companies interested in improving and competing in talent acquisition.
