Philadelphia, Friday, April 15, 2016 – Emily V. Biscardi, Founder and CEO of Xelerate, LLC was among the ninth cohort of 29 graduates who recently graduated from the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Business- Greater Philadelphia program.
“The timing of this program couldn’t have been more perfect. Xelerate was well positioned for growth at the start of the program and, therefore, able to immediately realize the benefits. The leadership, the structure of the program, and the peer learning were invaluable to me as a business leader. I would highly recommend this program to any growth business.”
The business leaders have spent 14 weeks, roughly 100 class hours, at the Community College of Philadelphia studying a business and management curriculum designed by Babson College and delivered by Community College of Philadelphia faculty. The curriculum covered topics specifically designed to address business growth. The program also included one on one business advising, accounting workshops and business advise from Goldman Sachs professionals.
Applications for 10,000 Small Businesses are accepted on a rolling basis at Community College of Philadelphia. The program is open to business owners from across the Greater Philadelphia region. To learn more or to apply, visit www.ccp.edu./10ksb or www.10ksbapply.com.
