EmilyImpact100 Philadelphia officially announced its 2014-2015 Board of Directors, naming CEO Emily V. Biscardi as its newest Grants Co-chair. Biscardi is listed among a small handful of accomplished women who will lead the organization in awarding large grants to non-profits in the local community.

Impact100 Philadelphia’s mission is to engage women in philanthropy and collectively fund grants to charitable initiatives that offer creative and innovative solutions to address the underserved populations in the Philadelphia region (www.impact100philly.org).  Through a detailed and thorough proposal-review and evaluation process, members determine which organizations are awarded grants. This year marking the 6th grant cycle, Impact100 awarded three high-impact grants of $100,000 each as well as two operating grants of $14,000, totaling $328,000.

“I am delighted and honored to be a part of this meaningful organization.  I value the significant impact the organization makes on our local non-profit community and the idea that we help put small non-profits on the map.” -Emily Biscardi

We congratulate Biscardi and the rest of the leadership team and wish you continued success in the upcoming grant year.

Hire Smarter, not harder

Across our client base, Xelerate has helped reduce time to hire by 2–30%. At Philadelphia Corporation of Aging, vacancies for investigator roles dropped from 75 to just 17. And at Global Refuge, we helped grow their team from 100 to 250 employees to meet rising service demands.
